McIntosh Trail

A Portion of the McIntosh Trail

This may be an exciting post for any guys who read this blog (Daddy and Grandaddy), but the ladies are probably wondering where the pictures of the people are! This is one of the only pics I have taken in 2009. We recently discovered that what we thought was the old roadbed of Hwy 16 running in front of our house is really a portion of the historic McIntosh Trail. I took a few pictures of it today just for posterity.

We are headed on a trip to Disney, so I should have lots of fun people-pictures to share when we return. I have changed the options for comments, so please leave a comment if you are reading this. Now there is an option to do it just by putting in your name. All you have to do is click "comments" below. I'd love to know who is out there checking in regularly!

Yeah! I can leave a comment now!
How exciting about the trail. I will have to go "Google" it and read up on its history. (I've turned in to such a history nerd)

I expect a FULL report of your Disney trip!! I can't wait to hear all about Uncle Ray and Aunt Sherry's 1st trip to "The World"! Have a great trip!

And to think, when we were building that bridge year before last . . . little did we know we were spanning the McIntosh Trail. I can't wait for that summer dedication ceremony, with Chief McIntosh, aka Neal, presiding. Have a great trip to Disney; we look forward to the photos.
